NEW YORK CITY GUESTHOUSES
I can help you with information about B&B's in and around the Village.
1)Incentra House, 32 8th Avenue (across
from Abingdon Square -
near Bank
Street I think?). I would say this is the nicest B&B around
the Village
area. Its housed in two brownstones, and alot of the rooms
have working
fireplaces (something you won't need in June, but still a nice
feature)...and are very nicely appointed, i.e. antiques and
such. I would
classify it as moderate to expensive. But well worth the
money, and only a
few blocks to Christopher Street, and the Block Party.

2)The Chelsea Pines Inn, 317 West 14th Street (between
8th/9th
Avenues).
Not as nice as the Incentra House, but a bargin for your money.
The rooms
are pretty basic, nothing too special...but it does feature a
glass enclosed
atrium breakfast/lunch area overlooking a pretty garden. It's
convenient to
the goings on for Pride Day, though it is on the border of the
Village and
Chelsea. (Probably only 7/8 short blocks to Christopher). I
would consider
it the best priced of the three B&B's I recommend here.

3)The Colonial House Inn, 318 West 22nd
Street (In Chelsea just
off of GAY
8th Avenue). Housed in a wonderful brownstone, with a classy
feel to it.
They also have a roof top sun deck, which has awesome views of
Midtown i.e.
the Empire State Building, etc. I love this place...and I
would classify it
as moderately/mid priced.
